The Jardines de Cuenca
Stepped terraces above the gorge, facing the old town.
The Jardines de Cuenca step down the northern slope of the gorge, facing the old town. They were built in the 1970s as a gift from the city of Cuenca, which shares with Ronda the landscape of houses hanging over a ravine.
Each terrace has its own planting and benches, and from all of them you can see the New Bridge from below — the view you cannot get from the town itself.
